About Us

DP Squared Ltd was formed by Darren and Deborah Paine in 2004, having both worked for One Arup and Partners our aim was to deliver the holistic design approach as a smaller practice. In that time we have worked on more than 800 projects, ranging from small domestic extensions to historic buildings that regenerate local communities to tall buildings that create diversity within our city centres.

We are based in the West Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge to reduce the impact of commuting for our staff and to provide a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere for them to work in.  Local public transport links give us easy and sustainable access to all the main Northern Cities within which we work, from Sheffield to Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and up to Lancaster.

We deliver projects across the UK and Internationally, with a focus on engineering quality and deliverability.

We have a reputation for good quality, innovative design, driven by collaboration with all members of the design team.

DP Squared collects together a group of talented individuals who relish the opportunity of challenging projects but have the background and experience in delivering major projects. We are not phased by the complexity of projects.
